REVIEW PROCESS

All submitted manuscripts are subject to a Single-blind review process, through an online system. The review process takes 5-6 weeks, and its primary focus is the novelty of the manuscripts and their contributions to Mathematics and Science research developments.

 

The manuscripts

The manuscript must be in *.doc/.docx or *.rtf, and sent to the journal system via online submission procedure by creating account in this Open Journal System (OJS). The manuscript should be an original research paper which sufficiently contributes novelty to Mathematics and Science research. The corresponding author should also provide a statement that the manuscript is not concurrently being under consideration for publication elsewhere. The Editors will ignore submissions that do not follow these procedures.

 

Structure of the manuscripts

  1. Title.The title should be clear and informative, and not more than 15 words.
  2. Author's names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions and addresses, without any academic title. For a joint paper, one of the authors should be notified as the corresponding author and email addresses.
  3. Abstract and keywords. The abstract consists of 100 - 250 words contain the purpose(s), methods, results, conclusion(s), and implication. The keywords should be minimum of 5 words. 
  4. Introduction.This section explains the background of the study, review of the previous researches in the area, clearly states the hypothesis and aims of the manuscripts. Importantly it should also show the significance and novelty of the research.
  5. Methods.This section describes the appropriate tools of analysis along with the data and their sources.
  6. Results and Discussion.This section explains the results of the study. Results achieved can be presented in a narrative and/or accompanied by tables or graphs along with interpretation. It should be presented clearly and concisely.
  7. Conclusion.This section contains a summary of the result and provides the answer of research problem. The conclusion(s) should be at the same order with ones discussed in the body of the manuscript.
  8. References.This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred to in the body of the manuscript.

 

General Writing Format

  1. The manuscript is prepared in an A4 paper, single-sided, and single line spacing format. A new paragraph should start 0.75 cm from the left margin, using 11 points, Times New Roman font type.
  2. The manuscript is written using a language of Indonesia in accordance with EYD.
  3. The length of the page is free, but normally consist of 6 to 10 pages.
  4. The top and bottom margins are 1 inch.
  5. The title is written using capital letters only at first word or special name (example: location name), 14 font size, center position.
  6. Sub titles are written using capital letters only at first word or special name, 11 font size, center position.
  7. Sub of sub titles, if any, are written using capital letters only at first word or special name, 9 font size. center position.
  8. Sub of a sub of sub titles, if any, are written using capital letters only at the beginning of each word except for connecting words, all in italics, 9 font size. They should be started from the left margin.


Specific Writing Format

  1. Equations and formula should be numbered as (1), (2)... etc appearing to their right.
  2. Estimation results from a software package are not allowed to be directly presented in the paper. They should be presented in summary tables.

 

Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be presented as follows:

  1. The name of tables and figures should follow a numbering system (Arabic numbering system). The title of the tables and figures are placed at the top and the bottom respectively.
  2. The tables and figures should provide the source of information, if any, at the bottom.
  3. Any table should contain only heading and contents. The table contains row lines only without column lines. Note(s) and source(s) should be included underneath the table where appropriate.

 

Acknowledgment

Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section on the title page. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.

 

Subjects and Authors Index

The authors should provide an index of the subject, namely the specific terms in the manuscript. The authors should also provide the index of authors, namely the key authors of papers referred to in the manuscript. Please write the family name followed by the given name.

The Authors are recommended to use Mendeley or Zotero Reference software

 

 

 

 

References

Reference contains only cited references in the manuscripts, can come from journals, books, proceedings, and patents, otherwise, those all are not allowed. The following references are an example of some sources:

How to send the manuscript

  1. The manuscript in *.doc/.docx or *.rtf format should be sent to the editor by clicking the Online Submission tab on our Website.
  2. A brief bio that contains full name, Affiliation, Country, email, mobile number, and others should be written in the fields of data when registering online in the website submission.

 

Final Decision

Taking into account the results of the peer reviewing process, the decision as to the acceptability of each manuscript for publication will be notified to the author(s) through the website system in the following alternative conclusions:

  1. Accepted without revision, or
  2. Accepted with revision, or
  3. Rejected.
