This is evidenced by the fact that student learning outcomes have not met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) applied by the school with a score of 70. Out of 22 students, 5 students met the KKM and 17 students did not meet the KKM. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model with four steps: 1) Planning, 2) Action, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The subjects of this study were 22 fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Pahandut. The data collection techniques used were Tests (Initial Test and Final Test) and Observations, which were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data. The results of this study indicate that application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model can enhance student activity and learning outcomes. This evident from the observation results of student learning activities at the end of cycle I and cycle II. Additionally, student learning outcomes in each cycle showed an increase from the pre-test, which obtained a completeness percentage of 27.2% with average score of 55. After implementing actions in cycle I, student learning outcomes&nbsp; with a percentage of 63.6%. However, further improvements were necessary as it was not yet optimal, and subsequent actions in cycle II resulted in an average score of 81.8 with a completeness percentage reaching 86.4%. The background of this problem focuses on the importance of understanding the relationship between culture and mathematics, especially in the context of local cultural heritage. The method used in this research is ethnography with a descriptive approach, which includes observation, documentation, and literature exploration. The results showed that the floor plan of Sipamutung Temple was designed with various complexities that reflect the level of mathematical development of the local community. The research uncovered the concept of flat shapes such as square, rectangle and trapezoid in the temple structure, as well as the application of geometry principles in its design. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of appreciating the sociocultural relevance of mathematics and practices in local cultures, as well as the need for efforts to preserve existing cultural heritage. Salah satu program pembinaan minat dan bakat di bidang seni keagamaan di SDIT Alam IKM Al-Muhajirin Kota Palangka Raya adalah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler hadrah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan dan penanaman nilai karakter melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler hadrah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kegiatan hadrah dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap hari Sabtu pukul 08.30–10.00 WIB di aula sekolah, dengan peserta sebanyak 20 siswa dari kelas III hingga kelas VI. This research design is a non-equivalent control group design, by conducting an initial test before being treated and after being treated to measure students' cognitive abilities. The teaching actors in this study were teachers in the control group and students in the experimental group. </em><em>The average value of the pre-test experiment was 59.9 and the average control was 58.42 and the average value of the post-test experiment was 82.5 and the average control was 76.84 with the difference in the average pre-test and post-test experiment being 22.6 and the control was 18.42. There was a significant increase in the average pre-test results with the average post-test results.&nbsp; </em><em>Based on the paired Sample T-Test test, the Sig.2-tailed result was 0.001, this value is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Meanwhile, when comparing the t-count value with the t-table, there is a t-count value of 7,032&gt; 1,682 from the t-table value, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. However, many students face difficulties in orally expressing ideas, especially when dealing with new vocabulary. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the Talking Stick learning model on the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 11 Langkai. This research employed a pre-experimental method using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study was conducted over three sessions on March 11, 13, and 18, 2025, involving 26 students of Class V-A. The research instrument was an oral test used to assess speaking skills. The collected data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, as the posttest data were not normally distributed. The instrument was validated through expert judgment by lecturers specialized in Indonesian Language Education. The findings revealed an improvement in the students’ average scores from 52.9 in the pretest to 80.4 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon test result showed a significance value of 0.000 (p &lt; 0.05), indicating a significant effect of the Talking Stick model on students’ speaking skills. This model fostered active participation, boosted students’ confidence, and facilitated structured and contextual expression of ideas. The study was motivated by a learning approach that gives students the freedom to create their own projects without predetermined models from the teacher. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving three students, using observation, interviews, and product assessments based on four creative thinking indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The findings indicate that students demonstrated creative thinking skills categorized as "creative" with an average indicator score of 66,66. The creative products developed by the students received a score of 73,33 from external observers and 83,33 from the teacher. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas IV SD N 1 Pahandut dengan menggunakan Aplikasi <em>Assemblr Edu</em> dan metode diskusi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan (1)perencanaan, (2)tindakan, (3)pengamatan, (4)refleksi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD N 1 Pahandut yang berjumlah 32 orang, terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan tes yang dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh presentase ketuntasan peserta didik pada pra tindakan 34% dengan rata-rata 57 setelah dilaksanakan siklus I hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 68,7% dengan rata-rata 83,7 terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 34,7%. Setelah itu mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dimana presentase ketuntasan mencapai 93,75% dengan rata-rata 88 yang meningkat dari siklus I dengan selisih 25%. Subjek uji coba skala terbatas dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas 1B SD ARB, subjek uji coba skala luas adalah kelas 1A dan 1C SD ARB. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif berupa kuasi eksperimen.</p> <p>Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) menghasilkan produk berupa modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara. Adapun modul matematika ini memiliki karakteristik self intruction, self contained, berdiri sendiri, adaptif, bersahabat, dan kekhasan metode sariswara; (2) hasil validasi produk memperoleh penilaian dari ahli materi rerata 86% termasuk dalam kriteria layak dan dari ahli desain rerata 89% termasuk dalam kriteria layak; (3) hasil uji efektifitas pada coba terbatas memperoleh n-gain score 56% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif dan uji coba luas menunjukkan jika pada kelompok eksperimen mempunyai nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek melalui permainan <em>mistery box </em>pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia.</p> <p>Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitin ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Dirincikan dengan adanya siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 29 peserta didik kelas V SDN 4 Palangka dan 1 guru kelas V SDN 4 Palangka. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan tes dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes menulis cerita pendek dan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif.</p> <p>Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek peserta didik pada setiap siklus. Pada pra tindakan, nilai rata-rata peserta didik sebesar 47,34 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 13,8% dengan kategori tidak tuntas. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata peserta didik meningkat menjadi 62,38 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 58,6% dengan kategori tidak tuntas. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata peserta didik semakin meningkat menjadi 74,1 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 82,8% dengan kategori tuntas. Penelitian ini didasari oleh keterampilan berbicara peserta didik pada kelas III-D SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun kalimat menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar saat presentasi dan tanya jawab di kelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik kelas III-D dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas peserta didik selama pembelajaran berlangsung.</p> <p>Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III-D sebanyak 25 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan dan permainan peran (<em>role playing</em>) serta dianalisa menggunakan uji kualitatif dan kuantitatif.</p> <p>Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan telah berhasil dengan diperoleh peningkatan hasil keterampilan berbicara. Peserta didik pada data pra siklus memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 65,4 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 36% (9 orang) yang tuntas. Pada tahap siklus 1, nilai rata-rata peserta didik meningkat sebesar 74,48 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 52% (12 orang) yang tuntas, dengan aktivitas guru dan peserta didik dalam kategori tuntas. Pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata meningkat sebesar 86,8 dan nilai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 92% (23 orang) yang mendapat nilai di atas ketuntasan, dengan aktivitas guru dan peserta didik dalam kategori baik. The background of this research is the widespread use of TikTok among elementary school students, which is feared to influence their attitudes and behaviors in daily life, especially in terms of politeness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation involving students, teachers, and parents as informants. The results of the study indicate that TikTok usage has a positive impact in increasing students’ creativity and self-expression. However, negative impacts are more dominant, such as the use of harsh language, lack of motivation to study and complete school tasks, disrespectful behavior toward teachers or parents, and a tendency to become addicted to gadgets. This research aims to improve the communication skills of grade V (five) students of SD Negeri 3 Pahandut through the use of PAPIN (Smart Board) media in Indonesian learning material "Unique and Interesting Events". The background of this research is the low communication skills of students, both verbally and in writing, as well as the lack of use of varied and interesting learning media. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) with the Kemmis and McTaggart models which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects in this study were 22 students of class V (five) of SD Negeri 3 Pahandut. The data collection technique uses observation, tests, and documentation, which are analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of this study show that the use of PAPIN media can improve students' communication skills. The average score of students' communication skills increased from 49.18 in pre-action, to 58 in cycle I, and reached 76.6 in cycle II. In addition, students' learning activities also increased from the category of being quite active in cycle I to being very active in cycle II. This improvement shows that PAPIN media is effective in creating an active, fun learning atmosphere,&nbsp; opinions, and orally. Thus, the use of PAPIN media can be used as an alternative learning strategy to improve the skills of students in elementary school, especially in Indonesian lessons.</em></p> 2025-07-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Sangkalemo : The Elementary School Teacher Education Journal
