PERANCANGAN APLIKASI PEMINJAMAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI PADA PT.PLN (PERSERO)UNIT UP2D S2JB MENGGUNAKAN APPSHEET

Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is equipment that protects workers from the risk of accidents in the workplace and has the purpose of each tool which is useful for the safety of the eyes, breathing, body, head and feet. In a company, it is very important to implement work security, safety, health and environment (K3L), one of which is found in the fifth point of the risk control hierarchy, namely the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Therefore, the need to use personal protective equipment at PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Implementation Unit (UP2D) South Sumatra, Jambi and Bengkulu (S2JB) is very important as a protective tool in meeting the company's standard operating procedures. At PT. PLN UP2D S2JB, several personal protective equipment has been provided, however, the process of borrowing PPE still uses a manual system in the form of a PPE borrowing register book, so the borrowing process takes quite a lot of time. Therefore, researchers designed an application using Appsheet. Appsheet is a no-code app development platform that allows users to create mobile and web apps without any programming knowledge. The method used in this research is Research and Deployment and the Object Oriented Design method. The result of this research is an application for borrowing personal protective equipment which focuses as an application to make it easier for PT. PLN UP2D S2JB employees to carry out the process of borrowing personal protective equipment to make it more effective.
