Abstract

Carbon dots (CDs) telah menarik perhatian besar dalam penelitian karena sifat unik dan potensi aplikasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren utama dan bidang penelitian yang berkembang dalam studi CDs. Analisis bibliometrik dilakukan menggunakan VOSviewer untuk memvisualisasikan data publikasi dari basis data ilmiah terkemuka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah publikasi terkait CDs dari tahun 2016 hingga 2023, dengan "carbon quantum dot" menjadi fokus utama penelitian. Tren utama meliputi aplikasi dalam sensor, deteksi, biomedis, energi, dan optoelektronik, menunjukkan pergeseran fokus dari sifat fluoresensi menuju aplikasi yang lebih beragam.
