The Kuala Kapuas Roundabout serves strategic traffic flows, both vehicles entering and leaving the city and internal movements within the city. Land use conditions in the surrounding area, such as offices and housing, generate high travel demand with a variety of vehicle types. Therefore, traffic flow projections are needed to assess the roundabout's ability to accommodate vehicle movements in the future. This study aims to analyze the volume of traffic passing through the Grand Roundabout, especially during rush hour, with reference to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of the 2023 analysis show that the highest traffic flow occurs on the DA intersection (Jalan Trans Kalimantan–Jalan Pemuda A) at 737 smp/hour. The highest capacity was found on the CD arm (Jalan Pemuda C–Jalan Trans Kalimantan) at 5,188 vehicles per hour. The highest degree of saturation is 0.132 on the CD intersection, which is still below the MKJI limit (0.75). The average delay at the roundabout is 1.39 sec/vehicle with a queue probability of 2.3%–9.3%, so the service level is categorized as A and is still considered very good
