The drainage system in urban areas still faces problems in draining rainwater, which can cause flooding and puddles. One location experiencing this condition is Jalan G. Obos XII and its surroundings in Palangka Raya City. This study aims to identify flood-prone drainage points, the factors causing them, and the technical measures that can be taken. The evaluation was conducted through an analysis of drainage channel capacity using two methods, namely hydrological and hydraulic analysis. Hydrological analysis was used to determine the design flow (Qr) using the rational method, while hydraulic analysis was used to determine the flow rate (Qs) using the Manning method. Regional rainfall was analyzed using the Thiessen Polygon method in the ArcGIS application. A comparison between Qr and Qs showed the sections of the channel that were prone to flooding, which were then visualized in a flood-prone map using ArcGIS 10.8. The results of the study showed that several flood-prone channels were located on a number of roads and alleys around the study site. The recommended technical measures were drainage channel normalization and raising public awareness of the importance of keeping the channels clean.
