Project management is a science related to leading and coordinating resources consisting of humans and materials using modern management techniques to achieve predetermined goals, namely within the scope of quality, schedule, and cost. The application of project management in the field still has many problems that occur and result in waste. To be able to minimize the occurrence of waste, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing through the Directorate General of Bina Konstruksi introduced lean construction techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the most dominant influence of lean construction on waste that occurs in construction projects in Palangka Raya City. The research method used a questionnaire distributed to building contractors in Palangka Raya City. The research data used primary data obtained from respondents, data analysis using the dominant test of Standardized Coefficients Beta. The results of the analysis obtained that the most dominant lean construction variable is the Last Planning System variable of 28.7%.
David Yan, Waluyo Nuswantoro Copyright (c) 2024 Basement : Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/basement/article/view/12849 Fri, 23 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Perancangan Kawasan Perumahan Menggunakan Metode Building Information Modelling https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/basement/article/view/12932
Housing refers to a collection of houses that act as a place to live or habitat, which is equipped with environmental facilities and infrastructure. The aim objective this study is to identify the contributing components. delays and obtain the root of the problem which has the most important role in resolving work delays on a construction project for the revitalization of the postgraduate building at Arilangga University. This research began with collecting data through field surveys, and observing what factors caused delays that occurred during the execution of the building of the Arilangga University postgraduate building revitalization project. The methods for gathering data that were employed in this study are, firstly primary data and secondly secondary data. Primary data is data produced through field surveys, interviews and observations. Meanwhile, secondary data is based on literature study, information from related parties. This research uses the same data collection techniques as in research conducted by others relevant research. Interview and observational data revealed that the elements contributing to the delays in the construction of the Arilangga University postgraduate building revitalization project were: 1) design changes due to the unsuitability of the function of several building structures, 2) delays in material supplies, 3) unpredictable weather. This scientific work discusses the development of a water channel network which aims to determine the amount of water demand needed and plan development to meet water needs in the Gempoltukmloko Village area, Sarirejo District, Lamongan Regency. This network planning is reviewed from the population growth rate in the study area starting on December 11, 2023 to December 24, 2023, and what is obtained from the results of this study based on the geometric method states that in 2043 the population in the study area reaches 1,201 people and the required discharge is 2,652 lt / d. under these conditions it is necessary to add new pipes at several points with a total length of 718.38 meters. The main problems that often occur in construction projects are delays in completion time and cost overruns that can result in decreased productivity. The Earned Value method is used as a management tool to quantitatively measure project performance and provide more accurate information about project progress and deviations from the planned schedule and budget. This research analyzes project performance data through three main variables: Planned Value, Earned Value, and Actual Cost. The analysis showed that there were several errors that caused the project to be delayed and over budget. Using performance indicators such as Schedule Performance Index and Cost Performance Index, this study found important areas that need improvement and recommended optimization strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of MEP works. It is expected that the implementation of these strategies will minimize delays and control costs, so that project objectives can be achieved within the set time and budget.
Irawan Irawan, Cilda Thesisa Copyright (c) 2024 Basement : Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/basement/article/view/14831 Fri, 23 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Pengaruh Volume Lalulintas Terhadap Tingkat Kebisingan (Studi Kasus Jalan Ahmad Yani Surabaya) https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/basement/article/view/14828
This study looks at how traffic volume affects road noise levels on Ahmad Yani, Surabaya. One of the main causes of noise pollution in urban areas is heavy traffic, which can affect quality of life and Health public. The direct measurement method at the location is carried out within seven days of Monday, 4 December to Sunday, 10 December and the data used to collect data on vehicle volume and noise levels throughout the day. The results of data analysis showed a significant positive correlation between traffic volume and noise level; an increase in traffic volume is proportional to an increase in noise level. It is expected that these findings will help local governments make better traffic management policies and strategies to reduce noise pollution to lower noise pollution levels in urban areas. This research also provides suggestions to improving the quality of life of the people of Surabaya through the use of noise reduction technologies and more environmentally friendly infrastructure desing.
Rifal Al-Amin, Ikhwanuddin Ikhwanuddin, Judiono Judiono Copyright (c) 2024 Basement : Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/basement/article/view/14828 Fri, 23 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Analisis Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Contract Change Order (CCO) Pada Proyek Konstruksi di Kota Palangka Raya https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/basement/article/view/15294
In the implementation of construction projects, they are often faced with problems, one of which is the occurrence of changes. Changes such as Contract Change Orders have an impact on the implementation of construction projects which will increase or decrease time, costs and quality. This research was conducted on two groups of respondents to determine whether or not there were differences of opinion between contractor respondents and supervisory consultants. The first stage carried out was to identify the factors causing the Contract Change Order from a number of previous research journal articles. The second stage is distributing questionnaires to construction companies registered with the Palangka Raya City LPSE for 2020-2023. The third stage is processing the data using the SPSS computer application to test validity and reliability, before analyzing it using Descriptive Analysis to determine the ranking of dominant factors. Then a Difference Test (Mann-Whitney) was carried out to determine the differences in opinion between the contractor respondent group and the supervisory consultant. The research was conducted in August-November 2023. The results of the literature study show twenty factors that cause Contract Change Orders on construction projects in Palangka Raya City. Descriptive analysis shows that there are three dominant factors, namely (mismatch between drawings and field conditions; addition and subtraction of work items; and addition and reduction of work volume). The Difference Test (Mann-Whitney) shows the calculated Z value < Z table = -0.094 < 1.96.
