Journal of Islamic Education and Intellectual Discourse (JIED) utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permit those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration.

The journal also archives all published content in:

1) National Library of Indonesia (Garuda / ISJD / Crossref, Dimensions, OneSearch)

2) Internet Archive and OAI-PMH compliant repositories

3) Institutional repositories of partner universities

These ensure long-term preservation and accessibility of all published materials even in the event of website failure or data loss.
