This policy reflects our commitment to the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and encourages collaboration among scholars, educators, and researchers across diverse disciplines.

All articles published in JIED are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This allows users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full texts of the articles, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author and the source.

JIED does not charge any submission or publication fees (no Article Processing Charges or APCs). Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the article simultaneously licensed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
