The study aims to investigate whether the utilization of Wordwall can significantly enhance students' learning outcomes, shedding light on its effectiveness in the contemporary educational landscape. Employing an experimental research design, specifically Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design model, the research focuses on two variables: the independent variable, Wordwall as a learning medium, and the dependent variable, learning outcomes of grade XI Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. The study population encompasses 51 students from classes XI A and B. Nonprobability sampling, using a saturated technique, results in 25 students for the experimental class and 26 for the control class. The research instrument comprises a 44-item learning outcomes test. Data analysis reveals a substantial difference in the average scores for learning outcomes between the experimental (78.24) and control (64.58) groups, with a margin of 13.44. The t-test yields a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, below 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This analysis underscores that the effective implementation of Wordwall as a learning medium significantly improves students' outcomes in light vehicle chassis maintenance and powertrain, surpassing traditional lecture-based models.</p> 2024-06-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 PARENTAS: Jurnal Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/pts/article/view/14551 ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' LEARNING DIFFICULTIES IN COMPLETING ROLE PLAYING PROJECTS SEMINAR COURSES MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATIONAL STUDY PROGRAM PALANGKA RAYA UNIVERSITY 2024-07-03T13:27:55+00:00 Persi Edo Putra persiedoputra040@gmail.com Ratna Pancawati sri@ptm.upr.ac.if <p>The Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP), especially the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Palangka Raya University, seminar courses are compulsory subjects in Semester Seven. Currently, car parking sensors are rarely used for this purpose. The tool used in this research is a hybrid technology of iot-based car parking sensors and data loggers. Water level (TMA) data is analyzed using a data logger and Firebase web. The data logger records data which is then integrated on the Firebase web to facilitate remote monitoring. Data (TMA) is sent every hour, so in one day the tool will send data 24 times. The status that can be seen from the Firebase web dashboard includes water level (TMA), water condition indicators (safe, caution, danger), last data update status, tool placement map, and a collection of data history. This research uses a pre-experiment method this tool requires a current of 200 mAh, a 10 watt peak solar panel, and a 12.5 ampere hour battery to turn on constantly. The utilization of ultrasonic sensor with esp 32 microcontroller is effective in recording Real-Time water level data. Iot plays an important role because it allows monitoring (TMA) from anywhere with internet availability. The maximum water level reading data occurred on November 31, 2023 at 40 cm from the peat soil surface and is comparable to the rainfall data on November 29, 2023 at 2.2 mm / day (Light Rain). The minimum water level reading occurred on December 16, 2023 at -5 cm (flooding) from the peat soil surface and was proportional to the rainfall data on December 16, 2023 of 53 mm/day (Heavy Rain). So it can be concluded that the minimum and maximum water level distance data fall into the safe category for peatland water levels that are between 0-40 cm (PP No. 57 of 2016).</p> 2024-06-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 PARENTAS: Jurnal Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/pts/article/view/10909 THE PERFORMANCE OF TJILIK RIWUT AIRPORT TAXIS IN THE CITY OF PALANGKA RAYA CITY ACCORDING TO USER 2024-07-03T13:23:22+00:00 Ricky Rianto rickyriantomx@gmail.com Tarita Aprilani Sitinjak rickyriantomx@gmail.com Revianti Coenraad revi@yaho.com <p>The existence of the Tjilik Riwut airport plays a big role in the development of the Palangka Raya area and its surroundings, especially in providing convenience for domestic passengers who want to visit Palangka Raya City, especially students or tourists who come from outside the island of Kalimantan.
