The purpose of this study was to describe (1) stress mental disorders (2) anxiety mental disorders (3) mood disorders experienced by the main character in the novel Haru no Sora by Laili Muttamimah with the psychological approach of Sigmund Freud. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive methods and the data source in this study is the novel Haru No Sora by Laili Muttamimah. The research instrument is the researcher himself who is the main instrument and data collection table. The data analysis technique used was grouping the data, coding the data, then interpreting the data. The results of the data analysis show that there are mental disorders in the novel Haru No Sora by Laili Muttamimah including stress mental disorders contained in the novel Haru no Sora by Laili Muttamimah, namely PTSD/Post-trauma like the death of Mrs. Sora. The anxiety disorders in the novel are generalized anxiety disorders such as excessive worry and tension when meeting Ogawa-san. The mood disorder in the novel is major depression. Sora has a depressed mood, sobs in public places, has trouble concentrating, loses strength, and even plans suicide. Existing mental disorders can be used to shape the character of students in controlling emotions and provide education about mental disorders in adolescents so that they are more familiar with emotions and help those closest to them with mental disorders.
Safa Tarisma A’idah, Eka Nova Ali Vardani, Dzarna Dzarna Copyright (c) 2024 ENGGANG: Jurnal Pendidikan, Bahasa, Sastra, Seni, dan Budaya https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/enggang/article/view/18120 Tue, 17 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Penggunaan Media Short Movie dalam Pembelajaran Kata Baku Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya https://e-journal.upr.ac.id/index.php/enggang/article/view/18122
The factor that causes students' low understanding of standard words is the lack of application of media carried out in learning about standard words. This study involved 24 grade IV students at SDN Cengkalsewu 01, Cengkalsewu Region, Pati Regency. Through tests and perceptions, information is collected. Data were examined using various abstract and quantitative approaches. The audit results show that picture story media is increasingly being used in creating experiences. This can be seen from the level of student movement which includes concentration when the instructor understands the material, effectively solves urgent problems, and considers answering the instructor's questions. There is an increase in the ability to read difficulties in each cycle. With an average score of 67.08, 8 students (33.33 percent) in cycle I reached a high level. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the KWL (Know-Want-Learn) technique influences the reading interest of fourth grade students at SDN Kertajaya IV in Surabaya in learning Indonesian. This study is based on the KWL learning paradigm, which requires three main learning activities: students' active participation before reading, understanding the text when it is read, and the ability to draw conclusions. This study used a questionnaire, pretest, and posttest to evaluate the impact of the KWL learning approach on reading ability. The average score obtained by students in the pretest was 64, while the average score they received in the posttest was 82. The purpose of this research is to test the ability to learn to read and understand news texts using the ECOLA (Extending Concepts through Language Activities) technique. The research method used was a quasi-experimental quantitative method involving two groups of students, namely the experimental group that received learning using the ECOLA technique and the control group that received conventional learning. Data was collected through a pretest and posttest which measured the ability to read comprehension of news texts. Data analysis was performed using a difference test between the two groups. The results showed that the group that received learning using the ECOLA technique experienced a significant increase in the ability to read and understand news texts compared to the control group. Based on these findings, it shows that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class as evidenced by the Kruskall Wallis test in addition to assessing student learning outcomes by calculating the average. Then, it can be an effective approach in improving students' reading comprehension skills of news texts as evidenced by the control class gain of 0.4602. While the value of the difference (gain) for the experimental class using the ECOLA technique is 0.6550 . The research used is quantitative research, with a type of quasi-experimental research. The sample of this study was all class V students consisting of two classes, namely class Va as an experimental class and class Vb as a control class. The data collection tool used to determine student learning outcomes is an objective test with a total of 20 questions that have been tested for validation and reliability. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using t-test formula. The results showed that student learning outcomes in theme 8 subtheme 1 increased with picture and picture learning models, namely pretest by 41.25 and posttest by 8. Based on the prerequisites tested first, namely normal and homogeneous data. The results of the normality test and homogeneity test show that the resulting data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the normality test calculation using the Liliefors test obtained student learning results in the experimental class using the picture and picture learning model, namely in the Pre-Test Lcalculate = 0.0926< Ltabel = 0.190 and in the post-test results Lcalculate = 0.155< Ltabel = 0.190 which shows that the data in the experimental class are normally distributed. In the control class using conventional learning models showed that the normality test results in the pre-test were Lcalculate = 0.106< Ltabel = 0.200 and the post-test results showed that Lcalculate = 0.195< Ltabel = 0.200 then the data in the control class were normally distributed. The calculation results of the experimental class and control class pre-test homogeneity test were obtained Fcalculate = 1.194 and the results of the experimental class and control class post-test homogeneity test Fcalculate = 1.115 with Ftable (α = 0.05) obtained 2.243. So Fcalculate< Ftabel concluded that the variance of pre-test and post-test data of experimental and control groups came from homogeneous samples. Among several theories related to symbols and meanings, Roland Barthes' theory of Semiotics which has the concept of connotative meaning and myth, is considered appropriate to be used as an analytical knife in this study. It is because there is a meaning in the second stage that can help reveal a connotative message and its myth. This research looks for the sign system's shape and the myths that appear in the song. Analysis of this study revealed that the music expresses the phenomenon of love and affection that lovers are experiencing. This song is considered revolutionary because some expressions describe the meanings in the form of the value of kindness and happiness in a romantic relationship, represented by beautiful lyrics.
