Focus and Scope

Growth publishes high-quality empirical research articles and literature reviews in the social and economic fields, primarily discussing development issues in emerging or developing countries, including (see fact sheet):
- economic development,
- social development,
- agricultural development,
- development of ecotourism,
- regional development,
- geography, planning and development,
- institutional development,
- management of natural resources and the environment, and
- sustainable development.

Growth emphasizes presenting research and reviewing articles that impact or imply economic and social development perspectives, in addition to statistical hypothesis testing. Each article is encouraged to present findings and promote research implications through synthesis at the macro level to benefit decision makers in government, community, or industry.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts according to the author guidelines and journal templates. The journal template consists of the main manuscript and title page. Authors must ensure that each primary manuscript does not contain any author identification or affiliation information to allow for a double-blind review process. The author's identity is written on the title page in a separate file and included in the supplementary file when submitting the OJS. Editors can revise and edit submitted manuscripts without changing the substance and content for consistency of format or layout before publication.
