Publication ethics are norms that must be adhered to by authors who wish to publish their scientific work in publication media. The basic norms in publishing prioritize morals, scientific integrity, and author honesty. 1. Moral: Capable of distinguishing between good and bad behavior in writing. 2. Scientific integrity: Upholding scientific rules, nature, and truth, so as not to sacrifice them for any interest. 3. Honesty: What the author does is in accordance with the actual objective conditions, and does not do things that should not be done in research or writing. The code of ethics that must be met by Authors who will publish scientific articles in Tropis: Jurnal Riset Teknologi Laboratorium Medis is as follows: Authors must understand the benefits or advantages and risks of the published writing. Authors are required to include adequate citations for all statements, ideas, and data that are not the result of their research. The published article's scientific field is appropriate or relevant to the field of Medical Laboratory Technology. The published article does not cause a negative impact on certain parties or have the potential to disturb the public. The authors listed on the published article are truly those who are competent and have made a significant contribution to the writing of the article. Authors do not engage in dual publication of the article to be published (double manuscript submission) to other journals or publication media simultaneously. Part or all of the published article has never been published in other publication media. The published article is original results of research, ideas, or thoughts of the Author. |
