Abstract

Department of Informatics at the University of Palangkaraya there are many courses offered. Of the many courses offered there are some subjects that requires students to follow the lab. Each student must semester must register lab if taking practical subjects. However, when applying practicum students must queue up to register the practicum and adjust the schedule with the schedule practicum course.
In the task this practice created a web application information system named "Practical Information Systems at the Department of Informatics, University of Palangkaraya Based Web". Lab information system is made by the method of application software development begins with the stage of requirement and definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing and operation and maintenance.
The study resulted in lab information system website in which there are various features. For the future is expected to generate web can handle (make automatic) lab schedules and information about news online lab for students in the Department of Informatics, University of Palangkaraya
