PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI ADMINISTRASI DESA MENGGUNAKAN METODE WATERFALL

Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly influenced public service management, including at the village administration level. However, many villages still rely on manual systems for managing administrative data, which often leads to inefficiency, data redundancy, and delays in public services. This study aims to develop a Village Administration Information System to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative services. The system is developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The proposed system is designed as a web-based application that facilitates the management of population data, correspondence, and administrative reporting. System testing is conducted using black-box testing to ensure functionality and reliability. The results show that the developed system is able to streamline administrative processes, reduce errors in data management, and improve the quality of public services in the village. Therefore, this system can serve as a practical solution for supporting digital transformation in village governance.
