Hospital Information Systems (HIS) are the integration of information technology used to manage administrative and clinical aspects in hospitals. This study aims to analyze the main scope of HIS in improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of healthcare services. The research method uses a literature review approach. The results show that HIS covers patient data management, financial administration, pharmacy, laboratory, electronic medical records, radiology, and analytical reporting
