Bogam Bay in West Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan Province is one of the bays that has dynamic potential influenced by local natural, social, economic, and environmental conditions. The Bogam Bay area faces ecological challenges in the form of coastal abrasion and ecosystem vulnerability due to uncertain climate change resulting in tidal waters in the coastal area. Coastal protection infrastructure, namely wave breaker embankments as a solution, has been built in stages. Supporting needs in the Bogam Bay area need to be prepared in addition to the infrastructure that is not yet available, including the need for accommodation for tourists visiting Bogam Bay Beach. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method from the results of field observations and comparative studies of Resort objects in Bali. The analysis stage is to identify the natural, social, and cultural potential of the community in the Bogam Bay area as an analysis of opportunities for infrastructure development in the tourist area with an attraction, amenities, and accommodation approach. The output result is a simulation, designers can evaluate the design performance from aspects of thermal comfort, natural lighting, cross ventilation, to energy efficiency, then refine the design to comply with bioclimatic principles.
