Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript is the result of research, literature review and or analysis.
  2. Manuscripts typed on A4 paper (21 cm x 29.7 cm), with mirror margin top 30 mm, bottom 25 mm cm, left (inside) 25 mm and right (outside) 20 mm, the number of pages is not more than 12 pages.
  3. Contents of papers written by Times New Roman font size 11 pt with a distance of 1 space, and typed using MS Word.
  4. Manuscripts are submitted in print (print-out) in duplicate along with files on a CD (made with Microsoft Word) to the address of the Editor of the Teknika Journal. Sending files can also be done via email: Teknika@upr.ac.id
  5. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian that meets good and correct rules or English with abstracts in Indonesian and English, not more than 250 words on the page before the Introduction.
  6. The title should be short, clear, informative and written in capital letters. For Library Studies, it should be written behind the title: A Literature Review.
  7. The name (without an academic degree) is written under the title and the address of the author's institution or place of research is written in full in footnotes and an e-mail address that can be contacted.
  8. The research paper chapter consists of: Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions, Acknowledgments, Bibliography, and Appendices. The literature review manuscript chapter consists of: Introduction, Theory and Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions, Acknowledgments, Bibliography, and Appendix.
  9. In citing the author's name and year system is used. Examples: Waluyo (2014); Waluyo and Wibowo (2011); Sugupta et al. (1996) for more than two authors.
  10. The bibliography is arranged alphabetically by the name of the first author (all authors' names are included) without serial numbers. The year of publication immediately after the author's name; the title of the book is italicized; volume, publisher and city of publisher's office. Note: we recommend that the literature used as a reference is the most recent written by another author (different universities and other countries). Try to reduce the use of references in your own writing.
  11. Each table, graph and histogram with the optimum size must have a number and a name (written below the border). The lines and letters that explain it are printed thick enough so that the scale changes in editing can still be read clearly.
  12. Formulas are written with generally accepted notation in their respective fields and each formula must be numbered which is placed behind it on the right side of the page. It is recommended that formulas use italicized letters/notations to distinguish them from text.
  13. All foreign terms or words that are not translated, for reasons of ease of understanding, must be written in italics.
  14. After review by expert editors, manuscripts that require revision or are rejected will be sent back to the author.
