Abstract

Good classroom management will give birth to good teaching and learning interactions as well. Therefore this study aims to determine the Effect of Classroom Management Through a Managerial Approach on Learning Outcomes of Third Grade Students at SD NU Sleman.

This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental research approach to the type of Pre-Experimental Design with One Shot Case Study. The research population was 95 students in grade III SD NU Sleman, which were divided into four, namely class III A – III D. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and observation with research instruments using tests. The quality criteria of the test use item differential power. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics by comparing the average value of student learning outcomes before and after.

The results of the study show that there are differences in learning outcomes between the previous scores and after the experiments. This is shown based on the one sample t test with a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.015 <0.05, thus based on this analysis it has been shown that classroom management has a significant effect on student learning outcomes.
