AUTHOR GUIDELINES
1. General Requirements
JISPAR: Journal of Social, Political, and Governmental Studies publishes scholarly articles that contribute to the development of knowledge in social sciences, political science, public administration, governance, and related fields within the journal's scope.
Manuscripts must be original, relevant to the journal's aims and scope, and must not be under consideration for publication by another journal.
As of 1 January 2026, manuscripts submitted to JISPAR must be written entirely in English, in accordance with the journal's current language policy.
2. Types of Manuscripts
JISPAR accepts original research articles and other scholarly manuscript types explicitly approved by the Editorial Board.
Each submission must present a clear research problem, an appropriate theoretical or conceptual foundation, a transparent methodology, a coherent analysis, and conclusions supported by the findings.
[CONFIRM: Specify whether the journal accepts review articles, conceptual papers, or other manuscript types.]
3. Manuscript Preparation
Authors must use the latest official JISPAR manuscript template available on the journal website.
Manuscripts must be prepared in an editable document format and follow the journal's requirements for structure, citation style, tables, figures, references, and formatting.
Authors should ensure that the manuscript has been carefully edited for English grammar, clarity, and academic style before submission.
4. Submission Procedure
Authors must submit manuscripts through the official online submission system on the JISPAR website.
Authors should not submit manuscripts through email unless the Editorial Office explicitly instructs them to do so.
The submitting author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the submitted version and agree to its submission to JISPAR.
5. Authorship and Originality
All listed authors must have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research or manuscript, participated in drafting or critically revising the work, approved the final version, and agreed to be accountable for their contributions.
Individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately rather than listed as authors.
Authors must ensure that the manuscript is original, appropriately cites the work of others, and does not contain plagiarism, fabricated data, falsified results, or other forms of research misconduct.
6. Ethical and Disclosure Requirements
Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and identify funding sources where applicable.
Research involving human participants, sensitive personal information, or other ethically regulated activities must comply with applicable ethical requirements. Authors should provide information about ethics approval and informed consent where relevant.
7. Peer Review and Editorial Decisions
All submissions are subject to an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal, completeness, and compliance with submission requirements.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening may be sent for peer review in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Process.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological soundness, and the reviewers' recommendations.
8. Copyright, Licensing, and Publication Ethics
Authors must read and comply with JISPAR's Copyright Notice, Open Access Statement, Plagiarism Screening Policy, and Publication Ethics policy before submitting a manuscript.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is not being considered simultaneously by another journal.
