This study examines the determinants of poverty across regencies and municipalities in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, by focusing on agricultural sector contribution, GRDP per capita, and the open unemployment rate. Using panel data from 14 regencies/ municipalities during 2020–2024, the study applies a Fixed Effect Model selected through Chow and Hausman tests. The results show that agricultural sector contribution and GRDP per capita have negative and significant effects on poverty, while the open unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect. These findings highlight the importance of inclusive agricultural development, regional income growth, and employment creation in reducing poverty.
