Abstrak

Indonesia termasuk negara dengan angka kejadian tifoid tinggi. Demam tifoid dapat memberikan berbagai manifestasi klinis dan hasil laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran manifestasi klinis dan pemeriksaan laboratorium pada pasien yang didiagnosis tifoid di RS PKU Bantul Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif restrospektif menggunakan data rekam medis. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi gambaran manifestasi klinis dan pemeriksaan laboratorium penunjang. Analisis data disajikan dalam bentuk diagram distribusi frekuensi. Sebanyak 72 pasien demam tifoid di RS PKU Bantul tahun 2014-2015 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi masuk menjadi subjek penelitian. Sebanyak 53% subjek adalah perempuan. Rerata usia subjek penelitian adalah 32 ±14 tahun. Gejala utama yang didapatkan adalah demam (99%) lalu gejala gangguan gastrointestinal sebanyak 91% berupa nausea, nyeri epigastrium, vormiting, diare, dan konstipasi. Gejala lain yang sering ditemukan adalah nyeri kepala (37%), nyeri otot (11%), dan batuk (8%). Hasil pemeriksaan fisik yang dominan berupa hepatomegali dan lidah kotor (19% dan 5% kasus). Abnormalitas pemeriksaan laboratorium yang dominan adalah kenaikan kenaikan SGOT (46%), SGPT (39%), anemia (26%), dan leukopenia (22%). Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan pada pasien demam tifoid sering ditemukan demam, gejala gastrointestinal, nyeri kepala disertai leukopenia, anemia dan kenaikan enzim hepar pada pemeriksaan laboratorium.
