Hubungan Pengetahuan Tentang Suplemen Kesehatan Terhadap Perilaku Konsumsi Suplemen Kesehatan dalam Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Apotik Nanesa Kota Palangka Raya

In July 2021, it was reported that the Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) in Central Borneo was recorded at 54% and Palangka Raya City was recorded at 75%. In accordance with the health service guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, to carry out self-isolation for COVID-19 patients without symptoms or with mild symptoms. This has an impact on the increasing need for health supplements such as vitamin C, vitamin D and multivitamins which consumers self-medicate in licensed drug stores and pharmacies. Increased purchases of self-medicated health supplements by consumers need to be accompanied by adequate knowledge and understanding regarding their use. Based on previous research, it shows that there is a relationship between knowledge and health supplement consumption behavior in the cities of Surabaya and Banjarbaru. Therefore, researchers will conduct research regarding the relationship between consumer knowledge about health supplements and health supplement consumption behavior at the Nanesa Pharmacy, Palangka Raya City. Data collection using a questionnaire created in Google Form. Previously, a questionnaire validity test was carried out at the Mitra Farma Pharmacy, Palangka Raya City. Questions that meet the requirements or are valid are used in collecting data at the Nanesa Pharmacy. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data will be analyzed statistically using the chi-square test. Respondents' knowledge about health supplements at the Nanesa Palangka Raya Pharmacy was at most 38 respondents (65.5%) had good knowledge. Respondents' behavior in consuming health supplements at the Nanesa Palangka Raya Pharmacy was at most 46 respondents (79.31%) who had the behavior of consuming health supplements in the right dosage, instructions for use and as needed. There is no relationship between respondents' knowledge about health supplements and their health supplement consumption behavior at the Nanesa Palangka Raya Pharmacy. There is no relationship between respondents' knowledge about health supplements and health supplement consumption behavior at the Nanesa Palangka Raya Pharmacy.
