Abstract

Pancasila serves as the philosophical foundation of Indonesian society and guides moral and social behavior. The second principle, “Just and Civilized Humanity,” emphasizes that individuals must treat others with kindness, respect, and fairness in all aspects of life. This value is not only relevant in direct social interactions but also in digital environments, including social media platforms such as TikTok. Awareness of ethical behavior online reflects the practical implementation of Pancasila’s second principle in contemporary society. This study aims to examine whether students demonstrate an understanding and application of this principle when posting or commenting on social media. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method by presenting several questions to respondents. Data were collected through interviews with educated adolescents who actively use or have used TikTok. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening awareness and socialization of Pancasila values, as their consistent application in both real and virtual interactions is essential for fostering harmonious and respectful social life.
