Analisis Makna Konotasi Lagu “Life Is Still Going On” Karya NCT DREAM dalam Perspektif Kehidupan Remaja

This study applies a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the connotative meanings found in the foreign-language song “Life Is Still Going On” by NCT DREAM. The lyrics of the song served as the primary data source. Data were collected through several stages, including reading the lyrics, listening to the song repeatedly, translating the text, and rereading it to gain deeper understanding. The analysis focused on identifying figurative language, implied messages, and symbolic expressions embedded in the lyrics. By interpreting these connotations, the researchers explored how the song conveys motivational themes related to perseverance, growth, and the challenges of adolescence. The findings indicate that the song contains several striking lines rich in layered meanings and emotional nuance. These complex expressions, when analyzed collectively, reflect encouragement for young people to remain resilient and optimistic about the future. Overall, the study highlights how musical texts can communicate profound messages that resonate with adolescents’ life experiences and personal development.
