Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling Pandohop (JBKP) organizes its publications into several sections based on the type and nature of manuscripts. Each section has a defined scope, purpose, and review policy to ensure consistency and academic quality.

1. Research Articles

This section publishes empirical research articles in guidance and counseling using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.

Policies:

  • Manuscripts must clearly present objectives, methods, results, and discussion

  • Studies involving human participants must include ethical clearance

  • Articles undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers

  • Editors may reject manuscripts that do not meet methodological or ethical standards

2. Conceptual or Theoretical Papers

This section includes conceptual analyses, theoretical discussions, and critical reviews of theories, models, or emerging issues in guidance and counseling.

Policies:

  • Manuscripts must demonstrate clear theoretical contributions and strong scholarly arguments

  • References must be relevant and up to date

  • All manuscripts are subject to peer review

3. Case Studies and Professional Practices

This section publishes case reports, innovative counseling practices, and professional reflections grounded in practical experience and academic analysis.

Policies:

  • Client and institutional identities must be protected

  • Manuscripts should link practice to counseling theories and ethical standards

  • Articles are reviewed for practical relevance and scholarly contribution

4. Literature Review Articles

This section includes systematic or narrative literature reviews addressing developments in guidance and counseling research.

Policies:

  • Manuscripts must describe literature search and selection methods

  • Reviews should be analytical and integrative rather than purely descriptive

  • Manuscripts undergo peer review to ensure originality and relevance

  • All manuscripts must comply with JBKP’s publication ethics policies

  • Plagiarism and similarity checks are mandatory

  • Final publication decisions rest with the Editor

  • Editors may reassign manuscripts to a more appropriate section

  • JBKP applies an online-first (continuous publication) model
