Journal of Guidance and Counseling Pandohop is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality scholarly research in the field of education, with a particular emphasis on guidance and counseling across various educational contexts. The journal serves as an intellectual forum for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange ideas, research findings, and innovative practices related to school counseling, career counseling, and higher education counseling.

Managed by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) in Palangkaraya, the journal is committed to advancing theoretical, empirical, and applied research that contributes to the development of guidance and counseling services in schools and higher education institutions. JBKP places strong emphasis on evidence-based practices, culturally responsive counseling approaches, and contextual issues relevant to Indonesian education while remaining open to broader global perspectives.

Change in Publication Policy of the Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Pandohop Effective 2025

To enhance the efficiency of the publication process and accelerate the dissemination of research findings in the field of Guidance and Counseling, the Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Pandohop has adopted a new publication policy, effective from the 2025 edition, as follows:

  1. Starting in 2025, manuscripts that have been accepted after completing the peer review and final editing process will be published immediately online (online first) without waiting for the entire issue to be completed.

  2. Articles will be released using a continuous (rolling) publication system, while still maintaining the assigned volume and issue numbers within the publication year.

  3. This policy aims to provide faster access for readers to the latest research, increase author visibility, and accelerate citation and indexing processes.

With this policy in place, the Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Pandohop seeks to ensure a faster, more transparent, and highly competitive publication process at both national and international levels.
