Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) dalam Konseling: Tinjauan Komprehensif Teori, Teknik, dan Aplikasinya dalam Konteks Pendidikan di Indonesia

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) merupakan pendekatan konseling dan psikoterapi berbasis bukti yang banyak digunakan dalam penanganan berbagai permasalahan psikologis. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji CBT secara komprehensif, meliputi sejarah perkembangan, asumsi dasar, konsep inti, teknik utama, struktur sesi, aplikasi dalam layanan konseling pendidikan, serta bukti empiris yang mendukung efektivitasnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur naratif dengan menelaah sumber ilmiah berbahasa Indonesia dan Inggris yang relevan, terutama publikasi dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa CBT memiliki landasan teoritis yang kuat, prosedur intervensi yang terstruktur, serta fleksibilitas untuk diterapkan pada berbagai permasalahan peserta didik, seperti kecemasan, depresi ringan, prokrastinasi akademik, dan distorsi kognitif. Selain itu, perkembangan gelombang ketiga CBT, seperti Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), dan Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), memperluas penerapan CBT dalam layanan konseling. Namun, implementasi CBT di Indonesia memerlukan adaptasi kultural agar sesuai dengan nilai sosial, spiritual, dan karakteristik peserta didik. Dengan demikian, CBT dapat dipandang sebagai pendekatan konseling yang relevan, fleksibel, dan potensial untuk memperkuat layanan bimbingan dan konseling di lingkungan pendidikan Indonesia.
