| Generative AI Policy | This policy outlines the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies in manuscript preparation to ensure transparency, accountability, and scholarly integrity. |
| 1. Authorship and Accountability | AI cannot be listed as an author. Authors retain full responsibility for all content in the manuscript, including any text or output generated with AI assistance. All content must be verified by the authors. |
| 2. Transparency and Disclosure | Any use of AI must be clearly disclosed, including the AI tool used, the purpose of its use, and the extent of its contribution. Disclosure should be placed in the Acknowledgments, Methods, or a dedicated statement section. |
| 3. Permitted Use | AI may be used for language enhancement, drafting, brainstorming, literature summarization, and assistance with visualization or data analysis (with human verification). All use must be disclosed. |
| 4. Prohibited Use | AI must not be used to fabricate data, commit plagiarism, replace human intellectual contribution, violate manuscript confidentiality, or mislead readers about methods or research findings. |
| 5. Consequences of Misuse | Misuse of AI may result in manuscript rejection, article retraction, publication bans, and notification to the authors' affiliated institutions. This policy will be updated as AI technologies evolve. |
