Overview The Journal Of Islamic Education And Intellectual Discourse (JIED) was established to advance academic scholarship in Islamic Education, Islamic Thought, and Intellectual Discourse.
Establishment Founded in November 2025 through the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education No. 6976/UN24.3/DT/2025. Led by Ahmad Saefulloh as the first Editor-in-Chief. Created as a publication platform for Islamic Education, Islamic Thought, Intellectual Tradition, and Contemporary Islamic Studies.
Publisher Managed and published by the Department of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia (Postal Code 73112).
Publication Frequency Published four times a year: March, June, September, and December.
Available in online format (e-ISSN: in process).
Editorial Vision Dedicated to developing critical, interdisciplinary, and contextual scientific discourse.
Aims to bridge classical Islamic intellectual heritage with modern educational and philosophical frameworks.
Language & System Since Volume 1, Number 1 (2025), articles are published in English, Arabic, or Indonesian.
Fully implemented the Open Journal System (OJS) for submission, peer review, and online publication.
DOI Registration In 2025, JIED registered with CrossRef.
All articles receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to enhance academic visibility and citation indexing.
