Ethical Standards JIED upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity, adhering to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal maintains principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability throughout the publication process.
Authors 1) Authors must ensure originality and avoid plagiarism.
2) All sources must be properly acknowledged.
3) Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal simultaneously.
Editors 1) Editors must ensure fair, transparent, and objective editorial decisions.
2) Editors are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the blind peer-review process.
3) Editors must prevent any conflict of interest and uphold confidentiality.
Reviewers 1) Reviewers must provide constructive and unbiased evaluations.
2) Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of manuscript content.
3) Reviewers must declare conflicts of interest when necessary.
Publisher 1) The publisher ensures ethical oversight of the publication process.
2) The publisher works to prevent misconduct and safeguard academic integrity.
3) Any form of academic dishonesty—plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission, or unethical citation—may result in rejection or retraction.
